As Phyllis Njoroge had been practicing for job interviews, she felt as if the common STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, and Result) left something to be desired in demonstrating the experience and value. As a result, she developed the SAIL framework for interview questions, with the letters being an abbreviation for Situation, Action, Impact, and Learnings.
